The 2025 August Raw Honey from Slate Hill Edible Forest is a super small batch. There were only 24 one pound bottles and 30 half pound bottles made and that’s IT. 2025 has been a crazy year for the bees, I’ve never seen anything like it. Their rations were so precious that almost no honey was available to harvest from August (one of the driest Augusts on record for Central New York and that drought continues now into September).
Delicious and Decadent, the August pull of lowland flowers, goldenrod, and aster is always the year’s best and most flavorful.
