2025 Honey Bee Nucs (5-Frame) CNY - Italian/Russian - JUNE

$225.00
Sold Out

We're taking reservations for honey bee NUCS for the spring of 2025 (JUNE pickups). Our nucs are 5 frames full of bees, resources (honey and pollen), brood, and a laying queen successfully overwintered in Central New York, in a plastic nuc carrier box.

The queens from our apiary at Slate Hill Edible Forest are mixed Italian/Russian genetics bred for three generations at the farm showing excellent winter hardiness. They are very gentile and easy to inspect, making them ideal for novice beekeepers who are looking to get established. They are also state inspected/certified disease free.

Pickups are going to be in JUNE (the exact date will depend on the weather conditions in May and how fast the bees build up their spring populations). I try to be flexible with when you can pickup so I strive to fit it into your specific schedule.

$225/nuc, and there is an option where I can come to your home/farm and install them for you along with a course on beekeeping if that's what you'd like. Please reach out to me for a quote on that service. I'm happy to answer any and all questions you might have.
